Protein is the single most important nutrient for dropping body weight. Eating protein at 25-30% of your total calories is a general recommendation but to be a bit more accurate it should be on a scale of 1.8-2.2 gr/kg/day, depending on individual.

This is something that’s going to help you retain lean mass while you lean down for a sculpted and toned physique, it’s going to help boost your metabolism via thermic effect of feeding, it helps with feeling fuller longer and reduce cravings, has a positive effect on ghrelin and leptin hormones.

It also helps with weight regain. It’s harder for people to get back on the weight regain train if they are eating a lot of protein.

Ultimately it’s going to have a huge impact on how many calories we take in on a daily basis.

Protein helps all around with fat loss. It has to be in a good serving size in each and every single meal or snack of the day.
