Portion control?

Awareness is immensely important when trying to lo se weight. Many people don’t have a clue of how much they are actually eating on a day to day basis and studies show that keeping track of your diet helps with weight loss.

Anytime you bring awareness to the surface, if you’re using food diary, taking pictures of your meals or any kind of awareness of portion control, these people consistently lose more weight than the people who don’t.

Just because you’re eating clean doesn’t mean you’re going to drop any body fat, it just means you’re eating more nutrient dense foods (more vitamins and minerals).

In a lot of cases people are eating only really healthy things, they are just eating too much of them. You can store body fat really easily eating raw nuts, avocados, coconut oil/butter, olive oil, oatmeal, sweet potato, rice and quinoa, organic fattier proteins (wild salmon, red meat, eggs) because the calories can add up very quickly.

If you don’t have any portion control that’s something you need to get on board with because there is no getting around the energy balance equation.
